Ecwid: New Integration

We have now integrated Blippa with the e-commerce system Ecwid (https://ecwid.com).

The use case is a flower shop that wants to use Blippa to add video messages to its flower deliveries.

To solve this, we added a Custom App in Ecvid and configured the webhook to point to a Form in Blippa.
The Form had the needed field (In this case, “Order”) and the REST API enabled.
We developed an Ecwid integration and connected it to the flower shop’s Ecwid API key.
Then we made that available as a Data Source.

In short:
When someone orders flowers, Blippa Form will get a call from a Ecwid webhook with the Order ID. We store this and then use the Ecwid API to fetch the order data. If the order does not include “Video Greeting”, we skip it; otherwise, we create a Blippa object using a template and send an email to the customer with the message “Upload your video using this link”.
