Problem: Scanning a qr code opens a web page that says “Object is not activated”.
Reason: In Blippa, an object can be active (=default), or not activated. The reason for keeping the object as not active might be to “be on safe side” instead of deleting it.
Example: When the Blippa performs a sync, all objects that are not found in the data source (like the Google Sheet or Excel file) will be set to “not active”.
Solution:
In Labelsadmin, select Objects and check the “Show only inactive” setting.
Open the object and check the “Active” setting.
Save the object.
Scan the QR: the object will now open as normal.
Note: If you delete the object, you can re-use the QR label to another object.
